The Itinerary
Wilpattu National Park
Start your expedition in the largest national park in Sri Lanka. Known for its unique "Willus" (natural lakes), Wilpattu offers a high chance of spotting the Sri Lankan leopard and the elusive sloth bear in a tranquil, less crowded environment.
Minneriya & Hurulu
Witness "The Gathering" of hundreds of Asian elephants. Spend two days tracking these gentle giants as they move between Minneriya, Kaudulla, and Hurulu Eco Park depending on their seasonal migration.
Yala National Park
Immerse yourself in the most famous park on the island. With three full days of morning and afternoon safaris, you have the maximum opportunity to photograph leopards, crocodiles, and an incredible array of birdlife in Block 1 and the quieter outer blocks.
Bundala & Udawalawe
Visit the RAMSAR-protected Bundala wetlands, a paradise for birdwatchers. Then, head to Udawalawe for guaranteed elephant sightings and a visit to the Elephant Transit Home, where orphaned calves are rehabilitated.
